The 0x143 cannot be OS specific - I've got the same problem on Linux RedHat 9.0, both on Domino 6.01 (sporadically, but more and more often), and now on Domino 6.5. Actually, now I get it consistently when attempting to start Notes.

Can this be due to actual memory available?
